Stuart Tait

Stuart is a chartered town planner with extensive experience spanning over 30 years in development planning both at the local and regional levels. He has an BA (Hons) degree in Planning from Glasgow School of Art/Glasgow University and is currently the Manager of Clydeplan, the strategic planning authority for the Glasgow City Region.

Stuart manages a team tasked with delivering strategic spatial planning for the Glasgow City Region on behalf of its eight constituent local authorities. This process involves engagement through joint working and consultation with a rang of key public sector organisations and the wider stakeholder community.

Stuart also chairs the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership Board and is a Board Member of the Metropolitan Glasgow Strategic Drainage Partnership.
