About
Paul is an archaeologist with over two decades of experience working across the commercial, academic, and third sectors. He specialises in delivering outcome-driven heritage programmes in collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including local communities, public bodies, and cultural organisations. Passionate about widening access to heritage, Paul is particularly interested in engaging non-traditional audiences in archaeology.
He holds a BSc and an MLitt in Archaeology from the University of Glasgow and earned his PhD from Durham University, focusing on the Scottish Iron Age. Paul is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (MCIfA).
At the Trust, Paul leads the archaeological and heritage projects as part of the River Park Programme, helping to connect people with the heritage of the River Leven.
