About
Angus is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has worked in local government in Scotland for over 30 years.
After being Head of Infrastructure and Design at North Ayrshire Council, Angus set up his own consultancy in 2013. He supported Transport Scotland in the planning of the national transportation needs of the Commonwealth Games in 2014, before taking the lead on the Scottish Roads Collaboration Programme until 2021. He is an Associate Consultant of SOLACE (the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives).
Angus is currently providing strategic senior management support to several Councils, driving service transformation and improving community outcomes, whilst responding to the emerging challenges of the national Climate Emergency Declaration. He is committed to the need to act now to adapt infrastructure and maximise all opportunities for green infrastructure.
