Chris joined the Green Action Trust in late 2023. Chris has worked in the forestry sector for over 25 years, starting her career in forest engineering in Canada. She spent some time writing forest management plans in Bhutan and has worked in the public sector, dealing with grants and regulations, in Scotland for over 15 years.

Chris holds a diploma in Forestry Technology from Canada and an MSc in Forest Management from the University of Edinburgh.

In her role as Head of Forestry & Land Services, Chris works with the forestry and land team to deliver our projects on the ground. Chris is also Director of the Clyde Climate Forest, a partnership project aimed at delivering tree planting projects in the Glasgow City Region.
