With vast experience in sustainability, business consultancy, strategic planning, and policy alignment, Ian leads the development and implementation of the Trust’s long-term partnership strategy, ensuring alignment with relevant national policy frameworks such as NPF4, 30×30, the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy and climate resilience commitments. He also oversees the delivery of the Central Scotland Green Network Programme and supports securing diverse income streams for the Trust through reviewing funding opportunities and building high-level, impactful partnerships with existing and potential clients, partners and stakeholders.

He is a vital member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing advice to our CEO, and fostering a collaborative culture, ensuring seamless integration across all departments.
