Kate joined the Trust in October 2023 after 11 years with the RSPB where she led the Inner Forth Futures/Inner Forth Landscape Initiative partnership in central Scotland. Latterly she also led development of the Climate FORTH project, securing c.£1.6m from NLHF and other funders to pilot new work focused on heritage, community and climate change adaptation.

Kate holds an MSc in Conservation from UCL and APM’s Project Management Qualification. She has worked in the third sector for over 17 years, always with a focus on engaging and involving multiple stakeholders with local heritage, its enhancement and links with the wider landscape.

In her role as Senior Programme Manager, Kate works with colleagues, Leven Programme partners, external consultants and funders to develop and deliver projects on the ground across Levenmouth, Fife.
