Lewis joined Green Action Trust in 2024 after previously working as a Senior Programmes Officer for Groundwork London, delivering city-wide environmental funding programmes such as the Rewild London Fund and Grow Back Greener.

Lewis holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has also worked as a product assistant for Thrust Carbon promoting sustainable travel and carbon mitigation.

As a Development Officer, Lewis’ role within the trust is to develop projects from initial inception, through development, and delivery, and to engage a wide range of stakeholders in the process to ensure projects fulfil the needs of the community and deliver multiple benefits such as flood risk mitigation, biodiversity enhancements and health and well-being improvements.
