Tom Campbell

Chief Executive Officer

Tom has worked at CEO and director level in several organisations and sectors including property, regeneration, Business Improvement Districts, charity and tourism. He was also the architect of the North Coast 500 having created, developed and implemented what became widely regarded as the number one touring route in the world. Latterly he was the Executive Chair of NC500, leading the route and brand to global recognition.

As well as these senior leadership roles, Tom is a certified mediator and has extensive consultancy experience in business planning, option appraisal, master-planning and tourism branding and marketing. He initially joined the Green Action Trust as a consultant adviser in marketing, communication and business development to help grow the awareness of the Trust and the work it was doing in the transformation of the environment. Prior to being appointed Chief Executive, he was asked to take on the roles of Director of Strategy and latterly, Interim Chief Executive.

Leading the Trust’s senior team, Tom has established a clear set of strategic priorities, which include meeting the core objectives of the Central Scotland Green Network, communicating the impact of our work effectively, building resilience in the organisation and developing new partnerships and markets.
