Lorraine Nichol

Finance Manager

Lorraine has worked in the charitable sector in Scotland for over 30 years. She has been part of the Green Action Trust team since 2004, firstly as Finance Officer and then as Finance Manager. Prior to that, she worked for Capability Scotland for 15 years in many financial roles, latterly as their Project Accountant.

Lorraine is responsible for the Trust’s finances, salaries, pensions and insurances and works closely with the Trust’s auditors, bankers, pension providers and insurers. She facilitates the day to day running of the Finance Office and ensures that the Trust’s financial procedures are adhered to in all aspects of the business.

Lorraine’s strengths lie in imaginative financial modelling for projects, full cost recovery and budgeting. Lorraine also has a keen interest in HR matters and mental health awareness.

Lorraine is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
