Sophie has over 10 years’ experience in the environmental sector, from wildlife conservation and community engagement to setting up and leading a charity. Often working in partnership to deliver programmes of work focusing on Government priorities. She joined the Green Action Trust in 2022.

Her various strategic and operational roles have shaped her expertise in climate and biodiversity which she will use to make new connections and further develop the Central Scotland Green Network to transform places for people and nature.

Sophie holds a BSc (Hons) in Ecology and MSc in Environmental Management, she also has an award from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
